Rick Braun and his trumpet land on the Trilith LIVE stage at 7 p.m. Friday, November 6, alongside Peachtree Jazz Edition, and the flashiest room in Fayetteville is offering a free seat to the neighbors who served. Trilith LIVE is giving away tickets to eligible service members, veterans, and their families through the nonprofit Vet Tix, sponsored by Butler Lexus of South Atlanta and Mallory & Evans. The questions that matter are the same ones any ticket buyer would bring: who qualifies, how a seat is claimed, and whether "free" carries a catch — and they are worth following all the way to November 6.
The stage is the 2,200-seat theater at the center of Trilith LIVE, the roughly 530,000-square-foot entertainment complex at 175 Trilith Parkway that opened in late 2025 inside the Town at Trilith, next door to Trilith Studios. The Braun show was rescheduled from February 28 to November 6.
"Veterans have given everything to protect the freedoms we cherish, and it is our privilege to give back—even in a small way," said Matt McClain, general manager of Trilith LIVE.
Who qualifies
The offer covers active-duty military members, honorably discharged veterans, their families, and the immediate family of service members killed in action. That means it can land in a Fayetteville living room, not just on a person in uniform.
But the door opens through paperwork, not a handshake. Vet Tix independently verifies every recipient: currently serving members can complete ID.me verification, while honorably discharged veterans show documentation of service or discharge — a DD214 or orders — plus a valid photo ID. For spouses or primary next of kin of service members killed in action, the route runs through a Report of Casualty, DD Form 1300, and a government photo ID.
The route to a seat
Claiming one is concrete: sign up for a free Vet Tix membership, complete the verification, and request available Rick Braun tickets on the Vet Tix platform. But there is a small catch to "free." Vet Tix charges a delivery fee on top of the donated seats — $1.97 to $16.97 per transaction, with $16.97 as the stated maximum.
The sponsors are names any reader would recognize from the Southern Crescent commute. Butler Lexus of South Atlanta, at 4025 Jonesboro Road in Union City, serves the southern metro including Fayetteville and Peachtree City. Mallory & Evans is the Atlanta-area commercial HVAC and real-estate development firm based at 625 Kentucky Street in Scottdale. Vet Tix, the Veteran Tickets Foundation, moves donated seats into verified hands.
What a free seat is worth
Third-party listings put the November 6 show in numbers: TicketSmarter showed a range of $74.38 to $158.76 across 195 listings, averaging $103.95, while American Arenas listed from about $82 to $180, averaging roughly $127. Because Vet Tix verifies service or honorable discharge before any ticket changes hands, a free seat is built to land with a vetted service member, veteran, or eligible family member — not handed out at the door.
A Fayette County veteran — or a neighbor who knows one — can act before November 6: a free Vet Tix membership and a request on the platform put a seat within reach. Whether that chair ends up filled by a Fayette County veteran and their family, rather than just advertised, is the question Trilith LIVE has now put in its own room, and the one worth watching.
